Ana Grant, DPhil
Vice President, Data Sciences
Ana Grant, Ph.D. is Vice President of Data Sciences at Neomorph, where she leads AI, data science, bioinformatics, and scientific computing to power a scalable discovery platform for targeted protein degradation. She brings over 20 years of experience building data-driven systems that translate complex biology into actionable insight.
Originally from Portugal, Ana trained in the U.K., earning a B.Sc. in Genetics from the University of Leeds and an M.Res. in Bioinformatics and D.Phil. in Chemistry from the University of York. She completed postdoctoral research at The Salk Institute, applying data science to genome-wide studies of transcriptional regulation, aging, and protein homeostasis.
Ana was faculty at the University of Michigan, where she combined genomics research with leadership of campus-wide OMICs analytics. Prior to Neomorph, she served as Director of Research Informatics at Synthetic Genomics, leading multidisciplinary teams to build informatics platforms that scaled from foundational biological research to precision agriculture applications. At Neomorph, she focuses on AI-enabled platforms that learn, scale, and accelerate drug discovery.
